These blooming flowers and trees reminded me that even though it's still cold here in the Chicago area it is Spring, and Summer will be here soon. These photos were taken at the Chicago Botanic Garden. From the thousand-year-old bonsai trees to the flowering poppies and the lush green landscapes, there was something beautiful to look at in every corner of the garden. Previously unbeknownst to me, there was even a furniture exhibit with incredible, sculptural furniture made out of interesting pieces of wood.
