Design is a personal business, so we offer intro calls free of charge to ensure we're a good fit.

The process may seem complicated, but we guide you every step of the way for as long as you need our help. Here's a simplified breakdown of how we’ll work together.

First, we’ll get to know you and your design goals through a series of questions about how you live and what you want to accomplish. We'll ask a lot of questions about who uses the spaces and how you wish to use them.

You might also share any inspiration images you have gathered or show us around your house and explain what you like, and don’t like, about the current design.

Next, we’ll take an “inventory” of your current home, measuring all relevant details in the room, like windows, doors, furniture and architecture.

After collecting measurements and learning about your needs, we’ll create a design plan. We’ll create 2D floor plans and 3D drawings to show you the layout, the pieces we recommend, and the style that works best within the space.

Once we review and finalize a plan together we'll be ready to start implementing it!

That's a very common concern. We have sophisticated computer programs that allow us to show you what your new space will look like in 3D. It even allows us to show you different fabrics and colors in the space. We can get as detailed as needed so you're comfortable with your decisions.

Yes, we are more than happy to! We have worked directly with Maria Killam on how to use her True Color Expert system, which is a proven method to determine colors and undertones that will work best in any space. This unique approach enables us to look at your existing furnishings and fixtures and give you suggestions on how to pull it together with your paint colors.

We can! We'll discuss this early on when we begin the project. We are super flexible, realistic, and creative throughout the process to keep you comfortable and guide you along the way.

Whether you’re redesigning a room or just changing some of your finishes, we are happy to assist with a little design help on an hourly basis. We're available for consultation for as few as two hours.

We source from many different locations—some of which are retail sources and others are designer-only showrooms or services. Once we begin working together we'll determine which sources make the most sense for you.

You're in control of your budget and we're here to help you make the best decisions possible. Throughout the process we'll keep you updated and provide guidance.

We are located in Deerfield, Illinois on the North Shore of Chicago. Most of our work is in the immediate area and Chicago. We do some remote consulting projects for clients, especially existing clients who have vacation homes in other locations.
